An AI-powered expense-sharing app: scan a receipt or an invoice to create the expense automatically, record a meeting and get minutes written all on their own — then BMD works out who owes what and suggests the simplest settlement. Beyond expense sharing, you can also formalise an IOU between friends and family, run a tontine or a common fund. You then pay with your usual tool (or right inside the app via Stripe, optionally) (Lydia, Wave, bank transfer…).

No. BMD never holds the money. You keep paying through your usual channels (Lydia, Wave, MoMo, SEPA transfer, PayPal) — and, optionally, you can settle right inside the app: the payment then goes through Stripe, a licensed payment institution, and reaches your friend without ever passing through BMD. BMD records the transaction, works out who owes what, and suggests the minimum settlement.
